Why women choose Nova for manicure

Every Modern System. Clinic-Grade Hygiene.

System choice

4

Every modern manicure system — not just one

Most Paphos salons offer one product line. Nova carries all four — Shellac, Rubber Base, Hard Gel and classic Polish — so we match the system to your nail rather than your nail to whatever system is available.

Hygiene

100%

Single-use files, sterilised tools

Cuticle work uses single-use files and sterilised metal tools — the same protocol used on the laser side of the clinic. Particularly relevant for the Russian-manicure technique, which works near the live cuticle.

Technique

RU

E-file-led, dry, precise — Russian manicure on request

The Russian-manicure technique is e-file driven, dry (no soak), and works extremely close to the cuticle line. It produces the cleanest possible edge but requires expert hand. Available on request — mention at booking.

Client reviews

What Manicure Clients Say

Real clients on the systems, hygiene and results.

  • I switched to Rubber Base after my Shellac kept lifting at the tips — total game changer. The technician explained the difference before we started and matched the system to my nail type. That level of care is rare in Paphos.

    Elena M.

Rubber Base Long · April 2026

  • I asked specifically for Russian manicure and they knew exactly what I meant. The e-file work near the cuticle was precise and careful — exactly the result I expected.

    Irina S.

Russian Manicure · Hard Gel · March 2026

  • The Hard Gel lasted exactly 4 weeks with no lifting or chipping — even through gym sessions and daily dishwashing. The hygiene standards are noticeably higher than the average nail bar.

    Sophie K.

Hard Gel Short · February 2026

What's the difference between Shellac, Rubber Base and Hard Gel?

Do you offer Russian manicure?

Yes — on request. Russian manicure uses an e-file-led, dry technique (no soak) that works very close to the cuticle line for an extremely clean edge. Mention it at booking, especially for first visits.

How long does a manicure last?

Manicure Polish 5–7 days. Shellac and Rubber Base 14–21 days. Hard Gel 3–4 weeks. Lifestyle — gym, dishwashing without gloves, dry hands — shortens lifespan. We schedule the refresh at checkout if wanted.

Is removal of gel safe for the natural nail?

Yes, when removed properly. Soak-off systems (Shellac, Rubber Base) are dissolved in acetone wraps. Hard Gel is filed off carefully with the e-file. Picking gel off damages the natural nail surface — bring it back to us, we remove for free if you've had the original manicure here.

Do you do men's manicure?

Yes — though most male clients book the Manicure Nail Polish without polish (i.e. shaping + cuticle work + buff only) at. A clean professional finish, no colour. Discreet and fast.

Can I book a manicure same-day?

Walk-ins are accommodated based on availability — phone first. Sundays we're closed. Most weekday afternoons we can fit a Manicure Polish or Shellac if a slot is open.

Can I combine my manicure with a laser session?

Yes — frequent same-visit combos: 10-min upper-lip laser + 1-hour manicure; pedicure + manicure (90 min total). Book back-to-back rooms; mention at booking.
